A Family Tradition . . .
In 1956, University of Kansas Pharmacy graduate and longtime Augustan Cletus Kappelmann bought Cooper Drug from then owner John Cooper.  Cletus believed in a progressive approach while maintaining the exceptional customer service Mr. Cooper had always offered Augustans.  In 2003, Brett Kappelmann, Cletus's son, graduated from the University of Kansas Pharmacy School to take his place beside his father at Cooper Drug.  Brett too believed that Cooper Drug should offer the best in affordable, modern medicine with old-fashioned service.
